UNITES Nepal is initiated by UNI/NEPAL Liaison Council and established by group of IT professionals from Nepal after working in various IT companies, and those who have been working in this field. The group had faced so many problems during their working period and realized that there should be some kind of organization who can listen to their problems and fight for them. At this point UNITES Nepal is more focused on IT professionals rights and regulations, their career and skills.

Executive Committee
A 19 members national adhoc committee of UNITES Nepal has formed in a meeting of IT professionals in Kathmnadu. There were about 50 selected IT professionals attended the adhoc committee formation meeting. There were more than 200 IT professionals have already attended the different NGN meetings of UNITES Nepal.

- Register the UNITES Nepal as National Trade Union of IT sector workers of Nepal into the labour department.
